20 Jul CAN LAVA LOVE HELP REDUCE RADIATION EXPOSURE FROM CATSCANS? ANOTHER REASON TO LOVE THE LOVE:

Lava Love co-founder Jennifer Clifton may have discovered first hand another great reason to use Lava Love! Here is her latest on her recent scary injury and how Lava Love helped:

While out on a mountain bike ride with my husband the other night, I hit a bump and ended up going over the handlebars. I bounced back up and kept going. I’ve done the same thing since I was a kid: Regardless of how banged up I get I just get back on and keep going. I was in pain but figured I was ok to ride home and I did.

The next day at work I developed a terrible headache, and then started to feel really tired. By 4 pm I was crying hysterically, so I called my friend who is an ER nurse for some advice. She said that head trauma is nothing to fool around with and suggested I get my head checked by a doctor. So my husband and I headed to our local ER. The PA on duty recommended I get a CAT scan, but she warned me that CAT scans emit a lot of radiation. She said that if I get 10 to 15 CAT scans over my life, I could get cancer in about ten years due to the radiation. Wow!  Despite the radiation concerns, I went ahead and got the CAT scan to rule out brain damage.

I was released that night (no major brain damage, phew!) and the first thing I did was get into a hot bath and add a cup of Lava Love Bath Powder. I repeated the bath ritual over the next few days. Why? Because I know about the healing and detoxifying power of bentonite clay. In fact, I recently read ascientific study that proved that bentonite clay removed radioactive ions from people’s bodies post-Fukushima. Not only does bentonite clay absorb radiation from nuclear fallout, it also absorbs any kind of radiation. Though I was not thrilled about the idea of exposing myself to radiation through a CAT scan I felt better about it thanks to the binding power of the clays in our product!
